Whitehall Preparatory & Fitness Academy is a tuition-free public school serving students in grades K–8. Located in the heart of Whitehall, we offer a unique approach that combines rigorous academics, daily fitness instruction, and a strong focus on character development.

Meet Our Principal

Welcome to Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy. My name is Matthew Dolan and I have served Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy as the school leader since 2017. Previous to being a school leader I served as an intervention specialist and dean of students within Performance Academies.

Our mission here at WPFA is to provide an environment where all students have the opportunity to excel in strong academics and have access to the best athletic program focusing on martial arts, soccer and pickleball. This focus allows all of our students to develop strong minds and strong bodies. In addition to our strong academics and fitness program, WPFA has incorporated a music program into the instructional day.

Our core instructional program incorporates resources that follow the standards provided through the Ohio Department of Education.

In addition to strong academics and fitness, WPFA offers intervention services which include individualized education plans (IEP), speech services, occupational therapy services, counseling services, positive behavior intervention supports, and so much more to support the overall growth of every student.

Through our dedication and passion for the growth of our students, WPFA has been recognized as a High Quality Charter School by the Department of Education since the 2023-2024 school year.
