Our Transition Program helps 8th graders leave Columbus Performance Academy Shepard fully prepared for high school academically, socially, and emotionally.
We guide families through applications, test prep, and interviews, helping students earn spots and scholarships at some of the top high schools in Ohio.

The Athlete of the Month award at Columbus Performance Academy for September 2026 goes to our 5th-grade student, Mi’Angel Floyd! 👏 Mi’Angel is a wonderful example of determination, respect, and a positive attitude. She comes to class ready to learn, works hard during training, and consistently gives her best effort. She listens to her instructors, stays focused throughout class, and approaches every challenge with confidence and perseverance. We are proud of the progress Mi’Angel has made in her Taekwondo skills and, most importantly, the character she continues to show both on and off the mat. Her dedication and hard work make her a great role model for her classmates. Congratulations, Mi’Angel! Keep working hard, keep believing in yourself, and keep shining! 🥋⭐️
💙 Big Kids, Big Encouragement at CPA!
Our 7th and 8th graders at Columbus Preparatory Academy spent some time helping and encouraging our Kindergarten students! It’s wonderful to see our older students stepping up as role models—offering a helping hand, cheering on our youngest learners, and showing them what it means to be part of the CPA community.
