Our Transition Program helps 8th graders leave Columbus Preparatory and Fitness Academy fully prepared for high school academically, socially, and emotionally.
We guide families through applications, test prep, and interviews, helping students earn spots and scholarships at some of the top high schools in Ohio.
With the right support, our students don’t just get in. They stand out.

📢 Public Notice: Columbus Preparatory & Academy will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This means all students will receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, with no meal application required.

Performance Academies is proud to congratulate Mrs. Ileana Ramirez Colon on her promotion to Assistant Principal at Columbus Preparatory and Fitness Academy!
Since joining the CPFA family in 2015, Mrs. Ramirez Colon has made an incredible impact on students, families, and colleagues. Beginning as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher, she earned Outstanding Teacher of the Year honors during the 2017–2018, 2018–2019, and 2022–2023 school years, along with Teacher of the Year Recognition in 2022–2023. She continued her leadership journey as CPFA's Academic Coach during the 2023–2024 school year, helping to strengthen teaching and learning across the school.
Originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Ramirez Colon brings passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to helping every student succeed. As she steps into her new leadership role for the 2026–2027 school year, we know she will continue to inspire excellence throughout the CPFA community.
