Our Transition Program helps 8th graders leave Cincinnati Performance Academy fully prepared for high school academically, socially, and emotionally.

🚒🔥 Today was an exciting day at Columbus Preparatory and Fitness Academy!
We were so excited to welcome the Columbus Fire Department, Station 12 — the “Dirty Dozen” — to our school! Our Kindergarten through 4th grade students had an amazing time learning about fire safety, answering questions, and learning what firefighters do to keep our community safe.
The students even got the chance to step inside a real fire truck and see some of the equipment firefighters use! They were engaged, asking questions, and having so much fun throughout the visit.
And the best part? 🚨 The firefighters surprised the students by beeping the horn and turning on the sirens! You should have seen the smiles and excitement! ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to Station 12 for spending time with our students and helping us teach such an important lesson.

Students recently visited Columbus Performance High School East, where they had the opportunity to see our high school students in action, experience what a high school classroom is like, and even take part in an activity from one of our Business courses. They wrapped up their visit with lunch in the high school cafeteria!

Through our High School Transition Program, we are committed to helping every student explore their options, understand what different high school experiences have to offer, and find the high school that is the right fit for them.
