About Whitehall Prep

Whitehall Preparatory & Fitness Academy is a tuition-free public school serving students in grades K–8. Located in the heart of Whitehall, we offer a unique approach that combines rigorous academics, daily fitness instruction, and a strong focus on character development.

Our teachers are dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential academically, physically, and emotionally. At Whitehall Prep, we believe every child can succeed with the right support, structure, and opportunities.

Meet Our Principal

Welcome to Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy. My name is Matthew Dolan and I am honored to say that I have led Whitehall Preparatory and Fitness Academy since 2017; however, I have served the Whitehall community since 2011.

Our mission here at WPFA is to provide an environment where all students have the opportunity to excel in strong academics and have access to the best athletic program focusing on martial arts, soccer and tennis. This focus allows all of our students to develop strong minds and strong bodies.

Our core instructional program incorporates resources that follow the standards provided through the Ohio Department of Education.

In addition to strong academics and fitness, WPFA offers intervention services which include individualized education plans (IEP), speech services, occupational therapy services, counseling services, positive behavior intervention supports, and so much more to support the overall growth of every student.

Through our dedication and passion for the growth of our students, WPFA has been recognized as a High Quality Charter School by the Department of Education since the 2023-2024 school year.
