Dear Trotwood Preparatory and Fitness Academy Community,
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your Principal. As I begin this journey with our students, families, staff, and community, I am filled with excitement about what we will accomplish together. I believe deeply that schools are more than buildings—they are communities where young people discover their strengths, develop their voices, build meaningful relationships, and prepare to make a positive impact on the world.
At Trotwood Preparatory and Fitness Academy, our commitment is simple: we will create a school where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported.
This year, we are intentionally focusing on two foundational priorities: culture and instruction. A strong school culture creates the conditions for students and adults to thrive, while high-quality instruction ensures that every student receives the academic opportunities they deserve. Together, these priorities will help us build a learning environment where excellence is expected, relationships matter, and growth is celebrated.
I also believe that our greatest successes will come from working as a team. Our students need teachers and staff who believe in them, families who feel welcomed and heard, and a community that recognizes the incredible potential of our young people. Each of us has an important role to play in creating the school experience our students deserve.
To our students: You belong here. Your voice matters. Your dreams matter. I want you to challenge yourself, embrace new opportunities, learn from your mistakes, and never be afraid to ask for help. My hope is that you leave our school each day knowing that you are capable of achieving more than you may have imagined.
To our families: Thank you for entrusting us with what matters most—your children. We value your partnership and believe that the strongest schools are built when families and educators work together. We look forward to building meaningful relationships with you and creating opportunities for you to be actively engaged in our school community.
To our staff: Thank you for choosing to serve our students. The work we do is important, and it has a lasting impact. I am excited to learn alongside you, celebrate our successes, navigate challenges together, and continue building a culture where adults feel supported and students experience excellence every day.
As we move forward, I invite you to join me in embracing a simple belief: our best days are ahead of us. There is tremendous potential within our school, and I am excited to see what happens when we commit to a shared vision, hold ourselves to high expectations, and lead with purpose, compassion, and consistency.
