Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
I am honored to welcome you to an exciting milestone at Middletown Preparatory and Fitness Academy—the launch of our inaugural 9th grade class.
My name is Principal Gardner, and I bring 17 years of experience in education, including 13 years serving the Middletown Preparatory and Fitness Academy community. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching many of your children, supporting staff as an Academic Coach, and serving as Assistant Principal. I am proud to continue this journey as Principal and with our students and families as we expand into high school.
For more than 20 years, Performance Academies has focused on educating the whole child through academic excellence, daily fitness, character development, and student wellness. Expanding into 9th grade allows us to continue this mission while providing the structure, consistency, and high expectations our scholars need as they prepare for the future.
At MPFA, we value strong partnerships between home and school. We believe structure, routine, and clear expectations are essential to student success. Our 10 Successful School Behaviors provide a shared language that supports learning, accountability, and positive school culture. Families and students are encouraged to review the student handbook and become familiar with our Mission and Vision as we work together toward common goals.
As members of the inaugural 9th grade class, our scholars have the opportunity to set the standard—demonstrating leadership, responsibility, and commitment to academic and fitness excellence.
I am looking forward to a successful and impactful 2026–2027 school year and to partnering with you as we begin this exciting new chapter at MPFA.
