Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Grandparents, Guardians,

November was such an awesome month for Cape Coral Preparatory and Fitness Academy (CCPFA). Each class was super creative with their door decorating, canned food drive boxes and their thankful skits during our monthly assembly. The students worked very hard to honor our Veterans. You should have seen how phenomenal the door decorating contest was last month. Each classroom had their own unique way of displaying what Veterans' Day meant to them. Thank you to all who helped donate for our canned food drive. We were able to help our families in need this holiday season in our own school community. The CCPFA P.T.O. sponsored a yogurt party from Menchie's and a pizza party from Rodino’s to all the outstanding contest winners!
We had our first Performance Academies Tennis Competition that was held on November 18th! The CCPFA Tennis Competition Team did a wonderful job! Every student was able to show off all their tennis skills that they learned during physical education with Ms. Corrado. Even further, it was great to see what great supporters we have to their fellow peers during the awards ceremony. I am very proud of each and every one of our students. I can’t wait to see how well they do at the Martial Arts Competition on Thursday, December 15th at Bonita Springs Preparatory and Fitness Academy (BSPFA).
December is going to be another AMAZING month here at CCPFA! We had our school spelling bee on Friday, December 2nd and all the kids did a great job. We sent our top five winners at CCPFA to BSPFA for the Performance Academy Spelling Bee on December 9th. All three schools had their top five winners from each school competing to find out who would be the best speller for the 2011-12 school year. All students did an amazing job spelling all the words! I am so proud to announce that the top two winners were from Cape Coral Preparatory and Fitness Academy this year!! Asher Lowe (3rd grade) in Ms. Troyan's classroom won first place! Nathan Macias (3rd grade) also in Ms. Troyan's classroom won second place! Congratulations to Alan Cedeno (4th grade) in Ms. Wolf’s classroom and Morgan Classetti and Michael Ajoge (5th grade) in Mr. Hollingsworth's classroom for participating, too! I am proud of each and every one of you for representing yourself, your family and your school during the spelling bee.
There are many more things coming in the month of December. We currently have our “Giving Tree” set up in our lobby. If you would be willing to help children in need please take a number from the tree and purchase one of the gifts for the child that is inside the card. After you wrap the gift, place the number on the present and then place back under the tree. Also, we will have our Holiday School Assembly on December 16th in the gym at 2:45 P.M. Just a reminder, early dismissal is at 1:00 p.m. on December 19th, 20th, and 21st for all students before the break. School is closed for Winter Break on Thursday, December 22– Wednesday, January 4, 2012. School resumes Thursday, January 5, 2012.
Thank you to the CCPFA staff and volunteers for your countless hours at school every day. I am thankful for all that you do here for the kids!
Happy Holidays!
Happy New Year!
